Return to Pens of Uncertain Provenance

“Made in Japan” Flat Top

This is the second of the two pens my wife got from her father, who had them as elements of his childhood toy-chest.  This one is even more obscure of origin than the other, the only marking on it being a “Made in Japan” on the point.  I include it here, like the other, to honour its perseverance in the face of decades of abuse and neglect.

Size: 13.1 cm long capped, 14.6 cm posted, 11.8 cm uncapped.

Point: Metal of some kind.

Filler: Lever, capacity approx. 0.7 ml

Japanese Flat Top... and not a yummy candy. (ID#0005)
