National Security is the name under which British Carbon Papers sold pens. British Carbon Papers did not make pens, of course, but hired the work out to a variety of makers. This practice began at some nebulous point in the 1920s and concluded with just as little documentation in the 1930s, which means that there is a pretty broad array of possible pens bearing the National Security label, in hard rubber and celluloid forms.
