Return to Pen Makers and Their Works


A Korean pen maker.  Their somewhat Hangul-intensive website suggests they’ve been at it since 1956, and some of the iconography indicates that the name is meant to conjure the industrious bee for those of us familiar with Linnaean taxonomy or Latin.

Unsatisfactory, I know, but it’s all I’ve got.

Update: An informant who is both a pen collector and Korean appeared to let me know that the company fell into financial difficulty, ceased production in 2014 and closed up entirely in 2015. So that link in the first paragraph is even less informative now than when I wrote this page in 2011.
