How's that for an offer-- buy a pile of ink cartridges and get a pen
that they'll fit inside! Yet more proof of the astonishing cheapness
value of Wearever pens! The dictionary, by the way, would also
cost a dollar-- which you had to send in cash rather than stamps,
according to the coupon on the back.
Wearevers being the obscure creatures which they are, I've no idea what
(if any) model name might apply to this pen. I'm also disinclined
to open the thing, as it has great novelty value in its current state.
It has a similar arrangement of point and feed to the Sheaffer
Skripsert, which I believe ran for a little more
than 98¢.
The careful observer will notice that the wetness component of the ink
has long since fled. That's genuine Wearever Ink Powder in those
little plastic tubes now.
Specifications: Steel point. Cartridge filler. As much puffery as it can handle.
Condition: I suppose I could call it New Old Stock, as it's
certainly never been used. But it's a Wearever, so few will
actually care.
Repairs: No.
Location: My collection.
For sale?: I'm not anxious to sell it, but it's not impossible.
